  • This coffee is the product of Cooperativa Multiactiva de Cafeteros Garzón Dorado, a co-op of 36 producers located in the Garzón municipality of Colombia’s Huila province. Ripe cherries from these farms are picked and the beans fermented for additional sweetness before being washed and dried on patios, and in some cases, drying silos.

Garzon is located in the southwestern part of the State of Huila, bordered by neighboring regions Guadaluepe in the south, and Gigante, in the north. It is in the semi-mountainous Central region (1300-1900masl.), where coffee production is found. The environmental conditions here produces coffees characterized by a citrus, herbal and sweet fragrance, medium body, and vibrant acidity.
